When we shoot sunset pictures, and who doesn't enjoy a photo of the sunset, we often face the sun and shoot directly into it. If we remember to look behind us every now and then, we might see some gorgeous scenery being lit by that falling sun. Such was the case during a trip to Big Bear Lake, California. The sunset on this day was okay but nothing spectacular. I turned to look at the light behind me and saw this, so I quickly set up my shot to capture the view.
